Where have you traveled by long-distance bus?

I have taken bus trips lasting a few hours to over a day in countries around the world. But it has been around 30 years since I have done so in my own country. Recently, I traveled from Vancouver Canada to Everett Washington (USA) via Greyhound. I am happy to report the bus was great – comfortable leather seats, clean, smooth, no stale “toilet smell” (which is what I remember most from bus trips in my teens.) The driver was friendly and drove safely. We left exactly on time. Plus, we made regular stops at combined bus/train stations that all had clean bathrooms and available drinks/snacks. The four hour drive zoomed by and was better than I expected. Cost was around $20. Not bad as it meant I got to leave the driving to someone else and simply enjoy the scenery and my book.

Thanks Greyhound Bus for a great trip.
