Traveler Social in Multnomah Village, Portland

Unpack stories from past trips. Collect tips for future journeys. Meet travelers from near and far. Enjoy time with a travel-minded community.
All at this casual Traveler Social which is great for anyone with a passport (or dreaming of getting one.) Traveler socials are casual events open to all. It is a gathering of new and experienced world travelers that want to share stories of past experiences and get inspiration for future adventures.

This month, we will be at the Lucky Lab in Multnomah Village area of Portland, OR. We will most likely be indoors (unless there is a heat wave, and then there is plenty of outdoor seating). The brewer offers a variety of beers and non-alcoholic drinks, plus pizza by the slice and salads. Please support the venue by getting something to eat and/or drink.  The venue has a parking lot and there is free street parking in the area. It is serviced by bus 44.

This Traveler Social is FREE for all. We do ask that you RSVP so we have an idea of how many people will attend. Please, honor the ticket RSVP system.  Therefore, if you get a ticket, please plan to attend. Having an accurate ticket count helps us to know how big of an area to stake out.

If you are a passholder, simply turn up. If not, please consider making a donation at the event. There are costs associated with organizing the event. Recommended donation for non-possholders is $5.

Travel Social Facilitators: Shyla will be hosting on her own this month as Dan is off playing in India. Shyla is an International Travel Coach with Wild Spirit Travel. She has traveled to 75 countries around the world.  She enjoys connecting with travelers and last month she attended the national conference of US Servas – an organization that promotes peace through travel, hosting, and cultural exchange. Sounds interesting? Ask Shyla about Servas at this event, or read about it the bestselling travel tip book the Before You Go Abroad Handbook . https://www.amazon.com/Before-You-Abroad-Handbook-International-ebook/dp/B074JK74CJ
